Two authors that have inspired me are Stephen King and Jane Yolen.
Though Stephen King and Jane Yolen don't write the same style, they both have a special place in my heart. I've been reading Stephen King since I've been 12 years old and deeply admire his writing and what he has accomplished in his career. Needless to say I was very excited to read his book that he wrote about writing called On Writing.
I had never heard of Jane Yolen, but an instructor suggested that I read her book, Take Joy. I went out and bought it and have to say that it really has been a help on mhy writing journey.
