Writer’s Village University has been offering affordable writing courses and workshops for the novice and seasoned writer since 1985. This educational community is internet based, meaning that students can study from anywhere at anytime throughout the world.

New courses and workshops are continuously being developed and released so there really is something for every writer, no matter what they specialize in.

The writing courses range from two to eight weeks in length, while the workshops are one week long. New writing courses and workshops start every week, so there are always educational offerings available, no matter when a writer joins. Writer’s Village University keeps an up to date online course calendar so students can plan their schedule accordingly.

Course and Workshop Structure

All writing workshops and courses are centered on peer learning with virtual interaction among students playing a vital part of the educational process. Writer’s Village University also has course facilitators for specific courses that are available to answer questions relating to the course material.

Assignments from the lessons are posted on the classroom message board which starts the peer feedback and review process. Lessons are available online anytime, day or night so the student can study when it’s convenient for them.

A wide range of chat and study group options are available to further facilitate the peer learning process. While these are optional features, they can enhance the educational experience for the writing student by providing a fun and respectful place to exchange ideas.

Tuition and Fees

One of the greatest things about Writer’s Village University is the price tag. Over 250 writing courses and workshops are available for a low annual fee. This means that students don’t need to worry about paying for courses individually, their affordable annual membership fee includes access to unlimited courses.

Other payment plans, both monthly and quarterly, are available for the prospective student that doesn’t feel comfortable committing to the annual membership fee. This allows them to try a class or two before deciding if Writer’s Village University is the right option for them.

Writer’s Village University also has special promotional periods where they offer a writing course free to the public. For more information, please visit the official Writer’s Village University website.

Yeah this would be a great program if people actually showed up in the classrooms. I paid for these services and was the only person in 2 different classes, so I was basically talking to myself. Not real valuable. And to add insult to injury, the owner of this establishment could care less.
