Aspiring designers, writers, filmmakers, and artists. This event is for you. Whether you are considering a writing track--creative or screenwriting--or something with a fine-artist bent, there's something for everyone at Arts Day LA on the UCLA Campus this Satuday, March 8.
Granted, all subject areas are related to UCLA Extension course curriculum. Yet, even if you aren't ready to take another step in the education process, the seminars are chock full of interesting information.
Each course of study has four, hour-long seminars, taught by UCLA Extension Department of the Arts instructors and active professionals in their own fields. Speakers include: author Barbara Abercrombie (Creative Writing), design consultant and senior designer Henry Mateo (Design Communication Arts), director/writer/producer Richard Freidman (Entertainment Studies), archietct Bruno Bondanelli (Interior Design), landscape arcitect and designer Karen Adnoff (Landscape Architecture), and screenwriter,novelist, and WGA-member Billy Mernitt (Screenwriting).
